The role of molybdenum in steel can be summarized as improving hardenability, improving thermal strength, preventing temper brittleness, improving remanence and coercivity, and corrosion resistance in certain media, and preventing pitting corrosion. Due to the various beneficial effects of molybdenum in steel,it has been widely used in a series of steel grades such as structural steel, spring steel, bearing steel, tool steel, stainless acid-resistant steel, heat-resistant steel (also known as heat-strength steel), and magnetic steel. Molybdenum is very effective in improving strength and toughness in cast iron. When the addition amount is 0.25% to 1.25%, it can also form pearlite matrix structure for castings with medium and large sections. Commonly used in rolls and other wear-resistant castings.
Among these uses, the steelmaking, foundry and ferroalloy industries are users of ferrosilicon. Together they consume about 90% of the ferrosilicon. Among various grades of ferrosilicon, 75% ferrosilicon is widely used at present. In the steelmaking industry, 3-5 kg of 75% ferrosilicon is consumed per ton of steel produced.
Silicon manganese alloy is used for steelmaking. The melting points of the deoxidized products MnSiO₃ and Mn₂SiO₄ are 1270°C and 1327°C respectively. They have the advantages of low melting point, large particle size, easy floating, and good deoxidation effect. Specifications and particle size: natural block, 10-100mm, powder or customized according to customer requirements. Packaging: one metric ton in a large bag, or according to customer requirements

Silicon-calcium alloy is a composite alloy composed of elements silicon, calcium and iron. It is an ideal composite deoxidant and desulfurizer. It is widely used in the production of steel grades such as high-quality steel, low carbon steel, stainless steel, and special alloys such as nickel-based alloys and titanium-based alloys; and is suitable as a heating agent for converter steelmaking workshops; it can also be used as a incubator for cast iron and additives for ductile cast iron production
Iron tungsten is made of tungsten manganese iron ore in an electric furnace with carbon reduction. Mainly used as an alloy element adder for tungsten alloy steels (such as high-speed steels). The tungsten iron produced in my country includes three varieties: W701, W702, and W65, with a tungsten content of about 65~70%. Because the melting point is high and cannot flow out in liquid form, it is produced by agglomeration method or iron extraction method.
Graphite petroleum coke carbon enhancer
Graphitized carbon enhancers are characterized by high fixed carbon content, usually above 98.5%, and have good electrical conductivity and high temperature resistance. Its appearance is usually black powder or particles, with uniform particle size distribution, which is conducive to rapid dissolution and absorption during steelmaking and casting. The main function of graphitized carbon enhancers is to increase the carbon content in the iron or liquid steel, thereby improving the strength and toughness of the material. It can also promote the nucleation capacity of graphite in the iron liquid, increase the ductile amount of ductile iron, improve the microstructure structure of gray cast iron, and increase the strength of gray cast iron 31.
